Since our inception in 1993 by outdoor gear designer and company founder Dennis Brune, ALPS Mountaineering has become an innovation. Founder Brune enjoyed a successful career beginning in 1979 with the mountaineering manufacturer Kelty. Dennis has always had a love for the outdoors and a passion for designing superior gear. Working with industry icons like Sir Edmund Hillary and many others along the way has helped Dennis push the innovation envelope throughout his career and continue to design feature-rich gear today.
