No. It uses an external 20lb propane tank (not included) placed outside the unit at least 5 feet away for safety. There is no internal compartment to hide the tank inside the base.
What are the two height options?
Two adjustable heights: 12.6" for lounging around the flames, and 14.6" for dining and drinks. Both include 0.8" foot pads. Adjust to match your seating setup.
How much heat does it produce and how large an area can it warm?
50,000 BTU. It warms the area around the table quickly with clean, smokeless heat ? no soot, ash, or smoke like wood fires.
