PPI was established in 2006 by James Pittman, an outdoor enthusiast and avid camper. Jim often found himself sleeping uncomfortably on a regular air mattress in the back of his truck. Knowing there had to be a better way, he set out to design and manufacture a mattress specifically designed to fit over the wheel wheels that would offer a more comfortable place to relax and rest while enhancing his adventure wherever it may take him. The result was AirBedz…The Original Truck Bed Air Mattress.
