The mechanism is based on a specially shaped rust free steel frame shaped as a clamp to attach to the pole, as well as providing a top ring holding a cup/can/bottle basket made from high quality Nylon fabric and mesh.

The bottom of the basket is a mesh - to ensure that any spills will simply go to the ground and keep the cup holder nice and clean.

It takes less than 10 seconds to attach the cup holder to the pole, and even a shorter time to detach it.
